That's what I mean by 'organised promiscuity'.Kochari wrote:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Craigslist#PersonalsLaszlo wrote: I find it amusing that, for the non vanilla amongst us, there are only really two choices - we can either find a loving partner that is into what we are (potentially after weeks, months or years of introducing 'ideas' to the bedroom) or we have to indulge in 'organised promiscuity'. Certainly not. But being a Tory definitely is a weakness of character!
And yeah, even before the internet if you wanted to meet some like-minded people for some niche fun there was always numbers to ring from the back of specialist magazines. But it was still 'organised promiscuity'.
To me it's just a strange thought that, for the vanilla crew, who can go out and find a stranger to get their rocks off, sub/dom etc. may seem like a dangerous and perverse pastime when in reality, although anonymity can still be a factor, you will most likely know the strangers phone number/email address.
idk, I don't seem to have explained myself properly... for me there seems to be a bit of a Heisenberg-uncertainty-principle vibe going on...
