i got it recently on ps3 but have yet to play it as i fear the screen tearing is gonna put me right off. just about to order it for my bro for his birthday on pc but pretty sure his rig will be able to handle it. i've heard of peps having to tweek the settings like mad to get it to run good on their pc.

ye, after browsing the web a little bit i found out the shading problem was actually associated with my card and there's not really a way around it. If he has a Radeon 7xxxM then I'd try and avoid it, as I don't think they've come out with a patch for it yet. Watched my friend play on his xbox last night and it seems like a really cool game.

After just looking at the picture for GoRiLLa_FiNGaH's mix in his sig i'm going to NEED to go home and play Oblivion again.

Going to need to start a new game though. I don't know if there is a term for this, but the enemies are progressing much faster than me. I mean damn, I see a Brown Bear and it's a fucking death sentence. Can't even think of stepping foot in Oblivion which is a problem for completing the main quest where you have to go to all the major towns and close the gates outside the city.

Well did some shopping this week and just got a package going throwback mode. Little bit of everything:
NES: Codename Viper, Monster Party, Ultima Exodus
Genesis/Mega Drive: Road Rash 1, Road Rash 2, Ranger X
PSX: Road Rash 3D
N64: Castlevania 64
Hoping that by the end of the year I can have my Road Rash and Castlevania collections complete including Japanese imports.
Slowly offloading my old C64 floppies and Amiga ones as well if anyone is interested, already sold a copy of Elite for a pretty penny.
Gone through my C64 stuff so far, here's a list of my legit floppies http://pastebin.com/0MURx1kT not including business and other app ones, have a ton of "don't copy that floppy" collection as well.
Need to get to my Amiga stuff next.

been on the bf3 again recently, new maps are fun and glad to see shitty ea have finally made the game run a bit better (still not as well as it ran after release)

add my origin if you still play on pc, i never play with anyone

Haha you can never go wrong with the classics. I need to snag a 3DO again since it had the best version of Road Rash by far.
That opening cutscene, it just screams 90s

playing the 'Complete' modded version of STALKER Call Of Pripyat. it's awesome. I tried the other two first but wasn't really feeling them as much.

also a fair bit of Age Of Empires II HD too, I got smashed last night in a 2v2v2 with mates

Completed The Walking Dead, Tomb Raider and (finally) Portal 2 over the last couple of months... I have nothing left. However it was pay day yesterday so what's worth getting?

Was told by a bud who bought it that it just should have been a DLC as nothing has changed but the setting.
Will snag it on the cheap in the future, the first one had plenty of issues, but was alright.

its not majorly different but there are quite a few changes that enhance the game. the devs even said its more of a 'dead island 1.5' fuck the reviews, no other game has captured zombie combat like dead island or riptide. nothing as satisfying as obtaining a rare 'strong fire axe' and smashing in heads.. very good fun.

also, watch_dogs just got a release date: nov 22nd. if you havent looked into it, check it out, looks to be the best game setting and theme ever.

yea ive been waiting for watch dogs for soooo long.

also good news for pc players, ubisoft has said that they are focusing development on the pc/next gen versions of the game.

i still can't believe that the "next-gen" console hardware is still 2 generations behind current pc hardware, before the next gen consoles have even been released lol

Finally getting around to beating GTA4. With mods, it's easily the best looking game I've ever played. I'm constantly wowed.
