Fall back M8

Loads of good house and techno tracks without basslines. Classics even.

Right! I dig how visceral it sounds!

Whatever dude. Just starting a discussion. You've contributed nothing.

To the OP: seriously, techno. Check out Marcel Dettmann, or the fine podcasts on CLR.net

Modern stuff is slower, if you want your face mashed in at 140 BPM (like in the vid) that was all the rage in the late 90's, go find some old Adam Beyer, Surgeon, etc mix sets on soulseek

Or you could listen to this, 3 deck mix I made of that hydraulic drummy style 11 years ago ;) https://soundcloud.com/andrewboie/dead-by-dawn

Cheers! Yeah, I used to go to raves back in the 90's I know how it used to be. I'm getting my workflow down in Logic so I'm making an EP and this is kind of the theme. Except it's @ 150bpm.

Not sure what you mean. I could give a crap about a genre. Genre seems to have hijacked this thread because I mislabeled in the OP.

You need bass. Without it, it wouldn't sound complete. Bass is something that balances the music. Bass is something that can help you through a rough day at work. Bass is something that builds up your life. Bass is what helped establish humanity. Bass is the answer to music. Even if there were no highs or mids, bass could still make up the song. Bass is what has helped the earth turn. Bass is the reason we can live. Bass... Is... Everything...
