that metal tube effect on voice

Before the drop theres this effect on the voice that amost sounds like a short delay/ metal tube ive herd it in live shows and
it sounds really nice , ive tried it myself with a phaser, delay, vocoder and failed, does any one know how its done?

It was filtered, and overlayed with the original voice. I'm not sure what specific tool is used, but with iZotope (VST) ive gotten a few pretty similair sounds.

Sounds like one of the IR options in Trash 2's convolve tab.

its just a really tight delay, and maybe a short metallic reverb too.
