A 12 year old did, it's fucked up that they'd charged a 12 year old as an adult and gave home 25 years

But we've all been raised to know that killing is wrong and we all know what the punishment for that is. I'm sure he made an informed decision, but yeah, I'm all about rehabilitation over punishment, my point is that he knew what he was doing and the ramifications of those actions

there are many cases of people with very low mental ages or mental retardation being executed in the US so don't be so sure. i think it only recently was ruled unconstitutional.

FUN FACT - the youngest person executed in the US in the 20th century was 14yr old George Stinney. His execution required a booster seat be fitted to the electric chair because of his small stature.
