tbh whoever said anti-war dub was right. It's a gd tune and that, but it's seen as the pinnacle of dubstep, as genre defining when, really, it's not mala's best track. It's not even in my top 5 mala tracks.

Truth about Joy O. Same goes for Doom as well.

Joy O's made some decent tunes though beneath the relentless hype. Not so much his collabs with Boddika & that, but BRTHDTT, Ellipsis & Hyph Mngo are all big

Its alright but gets riiinsed to fuck and the more i hear it the more gimmicky that metallic synth/sample sounds.

Pretty standard imo. The Bod/Joy O collabs get insta-acclaim without much thought in the "community" and amongst the people i go to nights with.

don't know if this was serious but i kinda agree. his sound is old untold mixed with old grime instrumentals but gets bumped like its fresh. i don't rate the whole '130 wave' either.

Yeah was being serious but that said though, I don't rly mind hearing his beats.

But yeah, very over-rated and nothing at all special. None of that '130 wave' stuff is 'fresh' but like with wen, this forum would make someone think otherwise. IMO it's mainly due to the fact that the users haven't been around in Grime's heyday so all this stuff sounds fresh to them. (Kahn's 'Percy' is a 5* example of when this happens)
