Yeah specifically that version or which one? I'm looking to upgrade soon too and they have too many versions with minor differences.

there are 3

hd25ii
hd25ii basics
hd25-sp ii

the top two are the same, the basics just come with a shorter cord (1.5m) and no velour earpads.

the sp's are completely different headphones though, and they use a different set of drivers (and they are shite for djing)

Nah these are them:

HD 25 SP II
HD 25 II
HD 25-1 II
HD 25-1 II basic
HD 25-C II
HD 25-13 II

I've read on the differences of all of them now, though. Biggest, besides the SP is that the 13 is a 600 ohm headphone and the C has a coiled cable.

So I narrowed it down to the 25-C and the II. Because of the longer and coiled cable basically.

ah yes, they're all essentially the same models though (just with different accessories)

and im fairly certain you cant by the 25s anymore (unless second hand)

just whatever you do, stay away from the sp's

Thanks man. What is your preference if any for DJ'ing, though. Straight or coiled and why? I think the only difference I can imagine is that the cable won't ever be in the way of my hands or I won't trip over it.

yup pretty much, and coiled dont tend to wear out as quickly as it doesn't put as much pressure on the jack/input on the headphones.

people sometimes say that the coiled vable is too heavy, to the extent it pulls down the phones, not sure how true is that
