Thats what Im talking about! We need more tunes like this for sure and some right in the 80-160 bpm range too to make it possible to transition between the two styles fluidly. Fuck static tempo sets, they're so 90's

Listened to it at Planet Mu's website and it sounded like some another strong punch from Pinch.
Suddenly, there was a terrible roar all around us, and the sky was full with what looked like huge bats, all swooping and screeching and diving around the car, and a voice was screaming:
Holy Jesus. What are these goddamn animals?

Check out Lynx if you wanna hear dnb producers doing something a little different with sparser beats - Disco Dodo is HEAVY.

Amit, Breakage etc. are doing interesting stuff with less 'boom tish boom tish'.

Heard Fabio play this the other day, was a refreshing listen indeed.

On topic: not the best I've heard from Pinch, but still a solid effort and a somewhat different approach. I actually like the flip the most. It has some lovely pads which add a lot of contrast to the wobble, and is a bit more subtle and hypnotic.

Still waiting for the monster that is Bootz though, hope that it'll be on the album.

Heard Disco Dodo on a rave by Marky and a few weeks later by Shy FX. It's great these guys are supporting a tune with the beat that is totally different from the usual dnb formulaic stuff. It must the freshest tune I have heard on a dnb rave in ages. I hope it will start a revolution and more producers will start experimenting with the drums. Also, the track is very bouncy and bassy on a big system, I felt like on a dubstep rave actually when they played it out. And many people didn't know how to dance, that's a sign of real forward-moving sound ;)

Anyway Pepper Spray is lovely, can't wait for Pinch's album!

Tune! Bought this not even realising it was an uptempo jam but thats cool because I have been looking for stuff like this. Need to look harder but I have no desire to listen through a ton of shite dnb right now.
