Rewiring Reason TO Fruityloops (Separate Mixer Tracks)

Post by Ficticious » Mon May 13, 2013 4:26 am

So as I love the sounds from reason even though every VST/Program can make almost the same sound (they still vary) I am looking to re-wire reason to FL. The problem is, when I do so all of my midi-out's go to the SAME mixer track. This is a huge problem as I am not able to use the Equalization function properly and I am only able to set effects through on and off automation.

In other words, I'm basically screwed unless there is a way to change each midi out to a seperate mixer channel/track somehow.

I have looked up tutorials and have done the search function, I'll look again but if anyone has a quick answer for this problem please take a couple prt screen pictures, draw an arrow and then explain so that I may use my sounds from reason as well. :w:

This could be solved with audio I/Os on your interface if Reason allows you to output audio to your interface. Send the audio signal of a Reason synth out through the interface and into FL Studio via the interface.

You could also just bounce stuff to audio.

Can you not use the reason Output device at the top? Press tab and scroll up, link each of your devices to it, then rewire.

New to reason still, Haven't used it that much.

Thanks then.

But if I did that, wouldn't I only be able to use my effects in reason? I want to be able to use them in FL through the mixer tracks?

I can't do the other option since I don't have two outputs.

Is my only other way rewiring reason twice over if I want it on a separate channel on the master bus in Fruityloops?

Dono, kinda confused.
