What VST's make these sounds?

Hey there!
Heres my first question, how do I make that sound like a turntable is being stopped? You hear it in the second part of my example, and what VST's can make that tight delay/Echo effect that you hear in the fourth part, I've been wondering and searching for ages, it seems so easy and I just don't know what the right key words would be to search for a tutorial on something like that, thanks for all the help!

For the fourth part :
If you are talking about the FX on the bass, go for : Chorus + Flanger (and + a delay like you pointed out, but unsynced with a time of like 20ms and without feedback [and you can try with ping pong delay too it's interesting)
The bass itself can be achieved for example with FM synthesis. In FM8 if you modulate a sine by a 10th formant it's a good start. Look up for growl bass tutorials on YouTube to find stuff with other kinds of synthesis (additive, substractive, granular)

EDIT : It sounds like reeses sometimes too, which is done by having several oscillators playing a saw wave at different octaves and also detuned by few cents (between 20 and 60 roughly). Again, there are some tutorials on every single bass music forum and on YouTube.


For the turntable stop, it's basically a sudden decrease in pitch. If you don't want to do it that way and want an easy thing, I know dBlue Glitch (PC only) and dBlue Glitch 2 (PC and Mac afaik) have it. Simple and effective. And Glitch has alot of other stuff too, it's practical to go mad on FX for some phrases, but the sound of it is too obvious in a way.

Thanks for the answers! I'm definitely going to put them to use, I had to delete the song from my Soundcloud page because some people thought I made the song, it was Boom by Datsik with the effects I wanted to know then added to it, thanks again guys!
