^^^
exactly, these murderers did this to get the media attention and to try and stir things up, they want the EDL to come out fighting. not sure why the media and government can't just show a bit of restraint rather than sensationalising it as much as possible and playing right into their hands

Boya Dee ‏@BOYADEE 13m
Apologies to all the news reporters i ignored (including you Jon Snow) but I really do not have anything else to say on the matter.

Boya Dee ‏@BOYADEE 12m
Since the incident occurred, I've been offered up to £75k from media outlets for my story. I've turned them all down.

Boya Dee ‏@BOYADEE 8m
This story is not about ME And doesn't need to be sensationalised anymore by me selling my story for a few bucks.

this dude is the only vaguely good thing to come out of this horrible mess, what a guy

I don't know who this guy is, but I'm finding it hard to believe he turned down 75.000 squid for it.

Def. If someone's crazy enough to offer you thousands for nothing, you take that deal.

and pop the vid on the net
because now I know it helps us all so much

can't somebody show a little restraint,
maybe some commonsense...?
someone can... and then someone else won't

self-censorship doesn't work

Your comparison would work if the woman were lying on the floor in a room full of convicted rapists and there's a cash prize tucked inside her fanny. One person resisting the temptation isn't going to stop her getting raped.

Do you genuinely think that if one media outlet 'shows restraint' the others will all follow suit?

lol @ believing anything boya dee says...

^ lot of this going around > "normopathy ; The pursuit of conformity and societal acceptance at the expense of individuality."

The murderer's actions , and any violence from religious or political extremists is in no way justifiable, but then neither were the actions of the Blair and Bush Administration justifiable within the whole afgnahistan and iraq saga and the continuing murder of innocent civilians in said countries & Pakistan.

We are reasonably lucky in our Western countries in the sense that our perception and exposure to violence is often restricted to what is televised and rarely seen and experienced to the extent of which it's a part of 'normal' life out in the middle eastern countries.

I really do hope that people, both the general population in the west, and the general population in these eastern countries and regions start to see how the actions pre and post 9/11 have perpetuated and caused more violence and terror than they had set out to end or intervene on.The So called 'War On Terror' that we all sponsor through our economy, has bred nothing but more terror. What political reactions do people expect to see when you fight terror with terror, fire with fire?

Sadly, on the whole, the majority of those dying are not related to either military ,rebellious or extremist groups and are just innocent civilians...a.k.a normal people with families.

Obama from the other day on Drone strikes and Guantanamo bay ;

“For the families of those civilians, no words or legal construct can justify their loss. For me, and those in my chain of command, these deaths will haunt us as long as we live, just as we are haunted by the civilian casualties that have occurred through conventional fighting in Afghanistan and Iraq.”

http://rt.com/usa/holder-obama-us-drone-694/

I also wonder how many people are aware that in the last few years, more U.S soliders have commited suicide than those who have been killed in active service. What does that really say about what is really happening over there? What do the death tolls from both sides indicate and how is the economy, or better yet,how are our lives affected ?

Let's hope that what actually comes out from all of this, isn't endless streams of sensationalism ,blind nationalism and racism, but rather more social participation in addressing something that won't just go away just because a new story in the news will come along and make us forget about it's role in the bigger scheme of things.

Diplomacy ,Democracy and Dogma on Planet Earth :o

Get well soon, World.

Ending a post with a picture like that doesn't really help imo.

not sure if i get your point. not really sure any choice of picture would have 'helped' either.

maybe something more literal?
