Could someone name this sample?
If any of you have heard the song Loefah - Mud, then I am sure you have heard the little rasta shout that comes in here and there, that literally shouts "Ehh!" and echos. I was just wondering if someone could tell me what these are called and where i could find some?

I think check some reggae samples and maybe you'll find it. Anyone know where comes the kid saying 'I love dub music!' sample from Mala's Changes?
Re: Could someone name this sample?
First things first that is a HARD tune! Secondly im not sure but maybe you could cut it out, highpass it and compress it?

I've always thought it sounded like the "hey" sample used in Full Throttle & Firestarter by the prodigy only chopped so that its just the beginning of the sample.
The original is from a tune called close to the edit by art of noise. May not be correct but they certainly sound similar.

I hope OP doesn't mind me "hijacking" this thread to ask for a source of a sample too, since i have been searching for this one for a while but i haven't found the actual source:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... HHA#t=178s
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... Bat0#t=45s
the shakers in these, what sample are they based on? they might be different samples, but where is either of them from?
Closest I've found is this: http://www.junglebreaks.co.uk/mystery/mystery02.wav but the guy who made the page doesn't know where it's from either.

What's the source of the sample when someone say "... it's like dubplate.." in Loefah - Root and Hijak - Babylon Timewarp songs?

Hell, I have no idea what you guys are looking for, but I was looking for a song I want to do a dubstep/brostep remix/remake of. I have no idea what it's called, but I can tell you it played sometime before/after/during the scene where that fat guy snorted some coke, in Take Me Home Tonight.
The 80's,man. It was a magical time.
Oh yeah, the song had this part where it played like killer square wave synth -- that's actually the part I need.
