It does seem like the attackers got exactly what they wanted out of this, at least in the short term, massive publicity, complete overreaction from the right wing elements of the country. They were asking bystanders to take photos and film, all very grim but seemingly well calculated. The guy that gave the monologue with the knives in hand, has become the pin up dart board target for every skin head racist thug out there, but it seems that's exactly what he wanted.
