I'm not sure how many of you may have spotted this gem going up on sale?
It is currently going for $19.99.
Well worth the $99 but at $20 you really should not pass this up.
Jesus Christ, why does every webshop these days require you to have money on your account already? Like a year ago I could just transfer cash from my bank account on the fly using paypal.
I missed out on a fucking audiodamage sale because of this too.
So just curious, do the lot of you just buy stuff when it's on sale for this cheap? I used buy things I'd never really thought about before just because it was cheap. Most of that stuff I rarely use these days.

No but Rapture is fairly legendary, won awards and has very unique features. I pass up a lot of deals though, even free stuff.
The link seems back to full price now though. I don't know if I'd pay full price, it came out in around 2006 and now with stuff like Alchemy and Zebra... probably say pass.

Why do you mention Absynth, fragments?
Oh...I was just asking if people always bought plug-ins when they came across good deals like this as it seemed like all the posters in this thread were jumping on this deal. I used to buy anything on sale no matter what when it was 75-80% off...most of that stuff I don't need/use now.
Point is, I don't feel like I need another synth besides Absynth.
It was mostly OT you can ignore me ;p

Yeah Absynth is definitely the one synth to rule them all, but as far as getting an analog tone out of it I ALWAYS get better results with Twin 2. Those two for me, pretty much all I need.
That said, new toys are fun, and I'm intrigued by the low low low price tag..
I think it's worth it if it's something different to what you already have. I've never used any ROMpler type synths so will be interested to have a go and see how it works
