HS50M + 2i2 with Sony SA-WM40

2x Yamaha HS 50 m + Focusrite 2i2 + Sony SA-WM40


Is it possible to hook this up? I've been reading good shit about the Sony SA-WM40 subwoofer, and I can actually get my hands on one for very cheap if I knew I could use it with my system.. Thinking of 1 line going to a hs50m, the other line goes to the sub, and then one line from the sub to the other hs50m.. Would this work? Since the sub has only 1 input and 1 output I'm not sure.

I don't want to buy the hs10w sub yet, it's too pricey for me.

Should work fine.

I daisy chain stuff all the time using THRU puts on subwoofers and monitors when i pin stages and setup PA rigs.

Think it should work too, worst case scenario it will be good for listening sessions :p still got my mdr 7506 to fall back to when mixing low-end..

Just an update.

I installed the subwoofer.

It sounds fucking gold in a treated room, I don't think I'll ever buy the hs10w for 10x the price of this beauty.
