That seemed so loud when I put it on, comparing the volume I have my speakers to what I normally do

Would you say this has been well mastered or just over compressed?

thats well mastered in pop music terms as the mastering engineers job is to make pop music (or brostep) as loud as possible.

you cant master dubstep like that as it loses all its dynamics.
