Exactly! Rednecks are everywhere, not just the Midwest and South.

In LA, 10 mins up the 5 freeway, North of the 405 and you're in Redneck Karaoke bar hell. Shit, you can find them in dive bars in Burbank. You can even find a different breed of them in Orange County.

I liked the David Cross observation that they all have exactly the same accent, no matter where they're from. He's right.

I guess I got the NASCAR part of it from when my friend's dad came back from a NASCAR event and his only question to us was "guys, what's crank? everyone there was talking about it. Is it some sort of racing slang?"

the only mexican food i've ever had is old el paso :(

their burrito mix is heavy though
duh there is nascar all over the world.
no there isn't. outside of the US racing drivers turn right as well :D
