zomby was all "i picked up ruff sqwad fotl back in '03 and people keep asking if it's forthcoming zomby shit"
oneman was all "good job only came out in '04 but yeh I play it as well."

that was basically it.

oneman also finished it by responding to someone commenting about the "beef"
"no beef just backing my real DJs #noableton #bareface"
Must be referring to jackmaster v zomby.

I've only heard disc 2 so far and I must say that I like some of the tunes, but I sure as hell am not paying 33 fucking euros for this LP. That is absolutely ridiculous.

It's 3 pieces which means you're paying 11 euros per 12". That's pretty standard. But I'm just going for the digital DL on this one. Rare that I buy full albums in vinyl.

Yeah, probs just gonna pick up the CD (presume there is a CD release?), really liking what I've heard, but not the sort of thing I'd mix with.

Wow, Abs. Seems odd we're both sharing these opinions but shit, but I'm finding it completely lacklustre. Soliloquy is ace, really not sure about 70% of these others. Vast Emptiness isn't the track he originally said it was :s.

lol the zomby formula essentially is

'Rave Planet' sample pack + 8bit sample pack + somebody elses chords + a break + airhorns = CULT SWAG 666

his older tunes were miles ahead in terms of production, musicality and general pretentiousness (i realise i may be sounding pretentious saying this)

i rate zomby as one of the better producers out there, it saddens me to hear an album that pretty much sounds like your mate flicking through projects on ableton.. someone said they thought this album is just the offcuts from previous releases? sounds pretty believable to me

yeah im with abs on this one, the beats are just half ass typical trap beats

i like some of the melodies but they all start to sound the same and its nothing new by a long shot

... Why has he used the same drum sounds for so many songs? Completely ruining it for me. I think from this album I am pretty much just gonna be liking the melodies and the textures, which are great. Over use of the same drum hits and beats kills it
