"I'm not sure really, it grew into that as time went on as an abstraction for myself when composing or sequencing. You know, I'd stare at paintings and sculpture and could see form around it and within. That would relate to a numeric structure which I could adapt analogously into music. That gave me a huge freedom and realization about music and art. Without that 75% of my work wouldn't exist, I don't think. I write viscerally or consciously in analogy"

The same distorted 808 is used throughout disc two, which kind of makes it bland.

Though i do like how he will make multiple versions of the one tune and mix it down differently.

This goes with lots of his work like With Lazers and Dynamite Sandwich and the Digital Flora release.

I think Pyrex Nights ft. Last Japan might be the best track on Disc 2

if zomby understands the golden ratio as anything more than 1:0.6 or whatever it is then i would be very surprised

how could it be applied to tunez? O_o

Nah he just wants to portray himself as some kind of genius, in all his recent interviews it's like he's trying to squeeze as many intricate phrases into one sentence as he can.

I think he really believes it though too, hence the comment about him being delusional

doesn't help that a lot of people worship him and are on his dick 24/7
