OH Not another artist thread

Post by R3b_Official » Thu Jun 13, 2013 3:25 pm

Ok so im fairly new to this site and it is a awesome one but like any other new person I need a bit oh help! I know i know search the fourm and google but ive been there and done that. Im not a total newbie or "noob" but one thing i would like to know or have a little insite in is how does FIgure make his massive sounds. He is an amazing artist and is one of kind. Check him out its worth it very unique. But back to topic do have any clue or can hear any wavetable or osc clearly in any of his song? ( Such as the one aliens). Sorry if this is a stupid request but his basses ,snares, and sound fx are spot on and thanks! Great community

Found some pretty accurate figure patches when I first started producing, think the pack was called real mad drumstick massive patches (could be wrong). Was a case of liking a Facebook page to Download, they are a good starting point at least. I also know Figure owns a few MPCs and drum machines so maybe think about layering 808 and 909 drums to make the drums

Well i know the yoyoy part but like.... let me give another example besides the typical yo synth and the snare part was good. But like in the song vampiers sorry but he has this lazer sort of wobble and i forgot what song it was in and i herd it in a couple of his song. I dont know what song it was but im at a camp and cant look it up.

Wrong dude ^ and i found those patches and there pretty good but not that umphf? I know you have to mix and match them but i can put on that one sound he use in a lot of synths. It has a rounded fell and is pretty high pitched, used in his basses, wobbles , and other stuff sorta his signature synth i guess.
