Man I wish I could play The Last Of Us, unfortunately I only have a 360 at the moment. Guess I'll have steal away my brother's PS3 the next I visit him :D

Recently completed Bioshock Infinite (I know, a bit late). Absolutely incredible!

My brother recently got me The Witcher 2 and Deus Ex Human Revolution, probably gonna get on one of those next. Or maybe I'll just make a new character in Mass Effect, heh.

Let me know how you get on with witcher 2, I need something to replace skyrim when I have this last achievement (new playthrough just go get one smh [daedric artifact])

i looked at it and it looks a bit hack and slash which bores me to tears..dragon age is dull as anything imho

BF2 is still a great game, even better when its modded a bit but I wasn't into BF3 and BF4 looks a bit meh. The Bad Company franchise is excellent though, so maybe they will keep that more true to the old stuff. The devs also want to do a BF2142 sequel but they said it's not planned right now. 2142 was great ideas with kinda mediocre execution, but it's still a cool game for what it is.

That was awesome, if I remember correctly. Scoping the horizon with binoculars, giving coordinates to gunners and stuff..
Pretty cool.

Nah I play games on my 360

Got a super duper production pc coming soon but made the big decision NOT to use it for gaming..tis the only way...

Actually just spent £69 inc delivery on amazon and got witcher 2 special edition, first dragon age with all dlc (DA 2 was what i played and it seems the first one is way better), dark souls special edition & sleeping dogs special edition

Still having a blast with DayZ and Arma 2 Combined Ops with ACE mod.
The new DayZ patch is a blast, actually making the zombies a significant threat again, and you actually have to decide if shooting another player is worth getting a horde of zombies on your position.
Had to put a few people down who were bringing hordes behind them while sloppily looting like the old patches or providing overwatch for buds looting.
It also made antibiotics the new gold item as you can get infected pretty damn easily.

I have Arma II, Combined Ops and DayZ on steam but I've never managed to launch DayZ before and Arma runs like crap.

My pc blue screens now for some reason too, I've had it for 5 years and all on vista. Reckon I'll reformat and install Windows 7, worth it you think?

if you've had your pc for 5 years i wouldn't bother trying. but hell some people run it well with rigs worse than mine and I can't run it well at all, so maybe its worth a try

I have Oblivion installed as i bought it on xbox live and tried playing it and it seems proper rubbish since Skyrim, will it genuinely get better and easier to enjoy as I want to clock it?

Disagree, my PC's 5 years old, but when I reinstalled Windows 7 because I got a new HDD it ran like new again. I'd recommend a reinstall of Windows every 2 years minimum to keep things running smoothly.

For the record, mine was midrange when I got it, and all I've done since is upgrade the graphics card at the end of 2011 and it runs everything a throw at it on high settings.

I think he means running Arma 2, which can be a bit tricky as it's very CPU dependent as well as pretty poorly optimized, it's one of those games that you need to tinker around with a bunch of settings and config files to maximize your FPS, but when you get it going it's so great.

yea thats what i meant

arma 2 and running well are polar opposites

its basically a gamble if you can run it, even very high end rigs with i7s and gtx 680s run it like shit

I wouldn't go that far, but it does take some tweaking to get good FPS.
A 4.0 Ghz dual-core is going to run it much better than an i7 with say 3.0 Ghz and quad cores.
Graphics card just helps maximize some of the settings that people try to push while others are dependent on the CPU.
Arma 3 is doing a better job performance wise, but not by an incredible margin, so will have to see if any big boosts or optimizations come with beta release on the 25th or between that and the official release.

If you have a Ps3 get Last Of Us.
If you don't, get a PS3 and Last of Us.
I make music as Forsaken, you can DL all my unreleased (and a couple released) bits here.

SuperDAE’s “Insurance Torrent” is Live, Promises Boatload of Leaked Content

SuperDAE, the super hacker behind the biggest hack in gaming history, has released his “insurance torrent”. Clocking in at 1.7 TB (yes, terabytes), it promises to hold everything from Unreal Engine source code to documents pertaining to unreleased Xbox One and PlayStation 4 information. If you have an internet subscription that has no caps and enough hard drive space capable of holding an extra 1.7 terabytes, go ahead and download it.

I’ve seen what is in these files and it’s certainly a lot more than you’d expect (or maybe not, considering it’s almost 2TB). Droves of unreleased items and leaked content galore. Certainly not something these companies would want getting out.

Go ahead and check it out on SuperDAE’s website.
http://levelsave.com/superdaes-insuranc ... d-content/

So this is supposed to contain devkit software for this gen's consoles including ps4/xbone amongst other things, which means in the right hands we could have emulators for the next gen consoles before they even release.
