It's not like he dislikes Vivek or something.

Small collection but its growing
Most expensive: Fightstar - They Like You Better When You Were Dead EP £29.15 (Bought for £12)
Cheapest: Southside Spinners - Luvstruck @ £0.19 (I bought it for £2, don't hate the cheese
)
Its amusing how my "most expensive and least expensive" records happen to not be dub

Respect for people putting that much effort/money into their music.
I usually go digital, unless I just feel like getting some vinyl. Gotta save money for gear though

Re: How much is your music collection worth?
According to iTunes about $12k.
I don't collect/like records. Personal preference. Doesn't mean I don't have any. Just some classic rock stuff. Some classic stones, Floyd, zz top, ect that's worth a few bucks. I had some rare Japanese Beatles colored vinyl that were worth about $150 bucks each, but I hate the Beatles so I traded them for a cheap guitar.

Pretty happy with that. Dont think I've got any worth a ridiculous amount. I find myself adding lots to my want list but cant face paying over about £20 for 1 record. Whats the most you lot would spend on 1 release?

m7 can i have £150 please?garethom wrote:Me too. I know I could sell a record for £150, but I know how quickly £150 goes/I could earn £150 anyway, so I'd rather just keep the record.Mr Hyde wrote:Not unless I had a fortune, and even then I'd feel a bit of a mug.lowphat wrote:Quick question out of curiosity, if you had the money, would you fork out say $150 for the rare record that you want?
But I've got records that people would pay me that much for and I find it really hard to bring myself to sell them
