Re: Underexposed movie recomendations
I don't know why I never bothered with it because I was a fan of The League of Gentlemen. Will give it a go!

Re: Underexposed movie recomendations
I once saw a polish surrealist film called The Saragossa Manuscript, which despite being quite long i also remember being fairly enjoyable considering its provenance(lol)

Cemetary man/dellamore della morte is amazing. Think evil dead but set in a small italian village with birds on mopeds and little scouts that turn into zombies. Surprisingly clever and philosophical aswell.

R.
a very grim and realistic prison film.
Most actors are former inmates and it has a tone unlike most films.
Mandatory watching imo.

Re: Underexposed movie recomendations
this is great, pretty recent

never see it mentioned anywhere so guess that qualifies as underrated/exposed

I've always felt that 'Barton Fink' & 'The Man Who Wasn't There' were overlooked, both in the Coen Brothers canon and in general - 'A Serious Man' & 'Blood Simple' too.
'The King of Comedy' is massively underrated.

I know probably none of you have ever heard of this and it doesn't sound very interesting so no one will bother to look it up, but I guarantee you The Lazarus Project is a sick movie.
