Zomby Style Drums
How does Zomby get such nice rough sounding drums?
Some of them sound like they have been bit crushed or downsampled or something.
If anyone knows some techniques i would appreciate it.
cheers.

In the second track I hear a distinct 808 cowbell and a ton of vinyl rips. With a decent reverb plugin and a tiny bit of compression and you could get something sounding about the same.

definitely reverb on the snare in the second one. I think it's more of a matter of choosing unique samples than bit crushing or whatnot.
also angel dust is a sick song, just downloaded it, thanks for showing

Weird question, what does he speak like - I've kinda got this voice in mind after reading his tweets (most of which are unintentionally amusing) a lot but I bet it's completely wrong haha.DOK-Cgen wrote:He does once in awhile like Deadmau5 does he answers questions from the chat and stuff its quite fun7th Star wrote:He actually ran a live stream?

Zomby and Zomboy are different artists with very different styles...think there is some wire crossing in this thread
