Anyone know about some cheap places to stay in Berlin or some Berlin ninjas with some knowledge? Thinking about going there with two mates in a few weeks.

i'm not sure about hostels or anything but me and my friends found some pretty cheap apartments through airbnb.co.uk
i think neukoelln's one of the best places to stay atm, it's still fairly cheap and it's a decent area. kreuzberg and friedrichshain are also good but a little bit more expensive cos they've been gentrified more (tho neukoelln's also going this way apparently so i duno if anyone knows of any better areas currently..?)

Jokes on them though, I didn't fail university in my first semester like most of them did and I've never failed an exam, again, like most of them did.
