Worrrrrd... I leave almost every festival fully intend to find/buy an old Nokia and then entirely forget until a couple of days before the next one.

I wonder how battery hungry the Glastonbury App is...

Isnt that the Bangface thing?
All I can remember from the last one was
"JUMPING JA-JA-JA-JACK CKCK FROOOOSSST"
BHHHHHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRR SIREN
"jUMPING JAJAJAJAACK FROST"
with bits of jungle to fill the gaps between the siren and the jackfrost bit.

Yeah Ill check some phone shops, whats annoying is they have a great one on amazon but the fucks wont let you buy it unless you buy £20s worth of amazon stuff.

Ah. Never been to the glade in the night time. Its funny you go to festivals and you can see the whole thing in a day, Glastonbury Ive been 3 years and Ive still not seen it all

Really looking froward to seeing Block 9 etc properly, last year I felt I was pranged out of my mind for 3 days and mostly stuck to staggering around Shangrila (fish and tits :cornlol: etc) or getting lost in Arcadia.

Only stuck my head in at block because the line wasnt long..

This will be my 12th Glastonbury and I've never:

- watched a film at the cinema
- had a "sit down" meal
- watched a comedian
- had any sort of hippie 'reading' or 'treatment' in the Healing Fields
- been to a silent disco
- spent an night in Strummerville
- been backstage
- thought I'd like to be ANYWHERE else but Pilton

Actually, that's shorter than I thought it was going to turn out. Last couple of festivals me and my ex spent quite a bit of time intentionally not going to any bands so we could find weird shit to do. Definitely worth it if you're a regular - the best bits of Glastonbury are the Glastonbury bits... touring bands and DJs turn up everywhere... there's only one Microrave!

Oh, shit, no I have seen a comedian. It wasn't anyone famous though and she used a Bill Hicks joke halfway through that I called her out on before realising the heckle had left my mouth... she wasn't very pleased with me.

I got a massage from a hippy lady in the healing fields, was alright I guess, would probably have been better if i was off my tits

Stewarding has it's advantages, unlimited access to the backstage bar in The Park is definitely high up on that list, I ended up having a few joints with Graham Coxon's drummer and talking about Cardiacs 8)

http://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/n ... -announced

Saturday night headliner to be announced closer to the time, I for one would love it to be Orbital, although some people on efestivals reckon it'll be Chemical Brothers.

Did this in 2007 I think it was. Saw Keira Knightley in the back stage bar and pissed next to the singer from the Killers in the nice toilets, but apart from that it kinda sucked.

here will be a single point of entry from 22.00 in Bella’s Field (opposite the Cabaret Tent), at which point all the normal entry routes during the day (including the old railway line) will become exit only.
Fuuuuuuuuuck, they tried this last time I swear and it was a bloody nightmare. Thousands of people trying to go through one entrance to get to one part rather than scattering along the train lines..

Innit, the new age travellers bits were too much.
Also the contrast with how it was throughout the 80s and early 90s compared to now :)

Just watched that documentary on tv. was pretty decent if it pops up on iplayer or whatever. Made me even more jealous of you guys though. haha (though my weekend plans are set to be decent anyway)

First time I ever did MDMA was Glastonbury and after a night of watching djs and bands and wandering around aimlessly talking the most ridiculous bollocks about how good everything was to everybody I ended up at the cinema for about 20 minutes where I got a little too excited about watching robots fighting in transformers before then getting really annoyed at having to listen to Shia Labeouf talking and leaving.

Not sure I'd do much more than that regarding the cinema.

Didn't make it backstage while the festival was on but I had to set up and take down some shit backstage before and after it. When taking it down we wandered over to the The Verve's dressing room and blagged all the left over stella and a big box of kit kats that was still in there.
