Soundcloud

I've gone awhile without any proper feedback on my tunes. Tell me what you think.

Nice little intro. Like the atmosphere of the main bit. Not so sure about the choir melody thats at the end of the main part. Really like that sort of static electricity sounding synth your using.

Thanks for listening. I was a bit unsure of the choir part myself, though, it seemed slightly bland without it.

Hi,
The overall sound as a whole is really good. Your mixdown sounds good to me, nothing is standing out as too loud/too soft.
The choir sample detracts from a professional sound though ...it would work really well if it wasn't a stock sounding sample, but who has access to a real choir eh?. Maybe record your self and pitch change it :)
I would personally expected a bit more variation as well. Maybe a little stuttering of the drums after 8 bars, also perhaps dropping the percussion out completely. The drums are pretty relentless through out the track, give listeners a break and then you can build up the suspense reintroducing them.
Nice atmosphere to this though, I enjoyed it.

Cheers,
Piesy

Thank you for the feedback. I'll definitely say that variation is something I need to work on in general, and I will surely keep that in mind for future tracks.
Listening back now, I see how the choir sounds a bit sketchy. Also, I don't think my voice would be suitable for this, but I could probably find another person for it.
