films are also good at this, watch a film about the subject you are unmotivated, for example when i think i can´t paint a shit or whatever i see a biography about an artist or an animation film with good drawings. it gives you a good push to start again with your stuff

Speeding ticket... 38mph, on a very wide, very straight road, where the pavements are a good 4 meters set back each side from the road.

End of 9 years of clean license, and 5 years ahead of increased insurance. Wahoooo, at least the roads are safer now.

I'm gonna sound like a dick mate but there's really no excuse for speeding.

I'm well aware of that, I'm not the sort of person that speeds all the time known as driving like an old man by mates (slow; not mental and dangerous), they laugh.. but (until the other day), I'm the only person out of em without points/an accident in 9 years.

And in no way am I condoning speeding, but what Agent said actually has research backing it up; there's a correlation between driving faster and being more attentive. Though I guess there's also a connection between speeding and accidents

It's not like they put that much thought into what the max. speed is where etc.. Here it's just divided in zones.
Sometimes you get these open stretches with no crossings and it's still 30-35mph.

What's dangerous is the two lane highways where you're allowed to go 80 and trucks still only move at 55.
