Long Live the Jazz

Post by titchbit » Mon Jun 24, 2013 11:39 pm

Whos got this new Swindle album? I'm thinking about buying it. I've previewed all the songs on itunes, and some of them sound decent but I'm not sure if it's worth buying. What do you think?

Another great dubstep album from Deep Medi. As good as Forward Forever.

Only had time to give it one proper listen so far but really enjoyed it, the "Phone Call" track was a bit pointless but the rest of it was top notch. I liked that there were a couple of his older tunes on it as well such as Ignition, remember loving it when it first came out so brought a lot of good memories back, and the original material fit in really well with it. Was a bit surprised it came out on Deep Medi rather than Butterz but doesn't really matter I suppose, people who follow Butterz already know Swindle well so hopefully will boost his (and grime's) popularity amongst dubstep fans who might have missed out previously. Looks to be a good summer for this scene albums-wise, the Author album is sick and what I've heard from Phaeleh's album (out in a few days) is fantastic, can't wait to hear the rest.

You can easily check some of the tracks out on youtube and see if some are to your liking.

Amazing album. "Running Cold" has to be the tune of the year so far for me. Definitely on par with the quality expected from Deep Medi.
