To think a few years ago that spot was reserved for Prodigy and Basement Jaxx.

Re: Glastonbury 2013
thought stones were kinda wank, just going through the motions and doing a bit of shameless promotion for their further tour dates too. But then I've never been a real fan.
Thought Arctic Monkeys absolutely smashed it last night, not many bands at their age could play for an hour and fourtyfive and I will recognise every single tune. Plus they just had proper swagger (you can tell they hang about with the QOTSA lot).
Mugford and sons are closing on sunday apparently? What a bunch of wank.
Also who the fuck is this Jen Long bird talking about Arcadia? All her bits seem like pisstakes - she's like a comedy character.

Re: Glastonbury 2013
Stones stopped like two times to say 'thanks for supporting us this year, and come along to some more shows.' Swear tickets to see them cost like £150, nah thanks mate.
Fair enough if watching a bunch of troglodytes wheeze through some boogy woogy blues music is your thing, but I can see that down the local pub for a fiver and chances are the only outfit change will be when the rhythm guitarist throws up a half digested pasty/guinness mix over the lead singers tight trousers.

Re: Glastonbury 2013
Portishead absolutely killed it, Roads was fucking special.
Managed to see Fat Boy Slim three times and Skream twice yesterday, although he was B2B Disclosure at the Hell Stage. Fuck the A303 though, that was a nightmare.

Re: Glastonbury 2013
I didn't go, and I don't need anyone to tell me, but Nick Cave et al was the best performance, I knew before it happened.

Re: Glastonbury 2013
There was 120k people at The rolling stones out of the 180k at the festival so that would be better than the mumford picture.
