So whenever I make myself a snare, kick or whathaveyou, the volume lowers by about 10dB when I bring the exported .wav back into my DAW (FL Studio).
Is it something in my export-settings that are doing this? Wat iz dis?
Thank you all in advance.

Re: Volume lowered when exported
Are you sure it's not because the volume know is automatically set to 80% when you import it?
Re: Volume lowered when exported
The master volume knob is always at 80%. I never even touch it.Brothulhu wrote:Are you sure it's not because the volume know is automatically set to 80% when you import it?
What I mean is, that everytime I export my newly made samples, they lose about 10dB, meaning that everytime I wanna use one of my own samples I have to increase the volume of the sample, which gets old pretty quick. Even the waveform looks smaller.
Re: Volume lowered when exported
Yeah the volume knob in the sample options turns it down when you import so when you bounce it and reimport it does it twice. Try doing it with the volume knob at 0db
