Been using these for ages, when is the next pack coming?
Re: Vinyl Noises (FREE DOWNLOAD)
Hopefully soon. I am neck deep in projects I am trying to finish before I head out to my sister's wedding in 2 weeks... But I am going to try to do some recording tonight.Brothulhu wrote:Been using these for ages, when is the next pack coming?

Good News / Bad News....
Got some good stuff recorded tonight.. but not enough for a full sample pack.
HOWEVER -
I just bought/ordered a piece of kit tonight that should (in theory) seriously flip some shit... I am very excited.
Hopefully it will arrive before I leave for America... but if not, I will lace it up as soon as I get back.
It will be worth the wait, I am confident..

^^haha yeah now I'm wondering what you got!
The previous owner gave me his ~wax~ too and there's some pretty cool hiphop stuff. Maybe I'll get it out and set it all up and record my own sample pack!
That video made think of something I didn't even consider before. Of course old music sounds different because the equipment they used was likely a lot different than whatever was used to record the samples for the xylophone rompler I used. Now the question is: how do I emulate that? lol
Ya, I actually have turntables and a mixer and wanted to learn turntablism techniques but gave up on it for a while. It seemed like the slipmats don't slip enough...dooshbhag wrote:Maybe work on the track's audio. By the time records have popping and crackle that's blatantly audible on small setups, they're pretty old.
Have you ever listened to music on vinyl? that'd be a good place to start.
Try this for starters (since it's a digitalized version of analogue sound, which is essentially what you're going for).
