well this marks the end of a short but bright era for me. parents found everything. 6 kids tripping off shrooms in my room plus me and my other friend vaping weed...my vaporizer, shrooms, pipe, weed, pills ... my friend who was on shrooms got so stressed he started throwing up and had a panic attack, was in and out of the bathroom the entire night

parents are beyond livid...discussing military school and whatnot


literally the worst day of my life. honestly everything that could go wrong has gone wrong


I guess it's good, when thinking long-term, but I just wish this phase of my life could have ended more peacefully

Let me understand this.

You and your friends were at home tripping on shrooms, vaping, etc? while your parents were home?
Are you trying to get caught? craving attention?
I'm honestly asking this because it seems totally self-defeating to do something like this.
I'm not sure if that's the correct description of it.

You're basically throwing hurdles in your path despite being given everything you need.
You could choose to take drugs, have fun, but still maintain.
We all have our fun but at some point you need to be logical about these things.
One thing you don't do is shove that shit down your parents throat when you live under their roof.

here's the deal, if anyone cares enough to read a full account. it was late at night, and we had been out in amsterdam doing stuff all day. it was after dinner, and we thought we had taken all the right precautions. We had waited an hour until after my mom had gone to bed so that we would be in the safe, so a bunch of my friends starting eating the shrooms. My friend and I had done shrooms only 2 nights before, so our tolerance would be up too much to get much of anything from them - it would be a waste of shrooms. So we just hit the vape.

But unfortunately, I had been a complete dumbass and forgotten about my dad. It was late and I just thought he was on a business trip, but he came home, and I knew he would come down to my room to talk to me, ask me about my day, etc. Well, with my room smelling intensely of weed, vaporizers/pipes/lighters/boxes of magic truffles lying all around, and my friends coming up on shrooms, I knew that wouldn't be a good thing to have happen. So I quickly threw everything into the closet and went up to talk to my dad upstairs. But I smelled intensely of weed and it was wafting up from my room, so my dad called it right off the bat. as in the dialogue was as quick as:
"hi dad!"
"hey, smells like you've been smoking pot"
"...."

I didn't really know what to say at that point, and I was already very stoned so my thought process was not completely coherent either.

You're completely right, this was a result of a series of very bad decisions. I maintain that I was never trying to do this for any sort of attention, it was me trying to have a good time with some good friends of mine, and yeah I like exploring the wonders of my consciousness, the expansive and unifying feeling I get from magic mushrooms. It feels enlightening in a sense. With weed and alcohol, I can't pretend to claim any noble aspirations at all, it's just enjoying the feeling of being fucked up and having a good time. But I don't see anything wrong with that when it's responsible and in moderation.

As far as the using in my parents home goes, in our situation it was really the most responsible place to do it and pretty much the only place that we could do it. My bedroom late at night is the safest and most private place that I could choose to trip. As teens living in the city, we simply don't have another good place to trip.

murky and others, I appreciate your defensiveness, but EH has only ever been good to me, and has taken more time than most to provide me with extensive help for a variety of things. He seems like a great guy and hasn't done anything particularly bully-like to me. And the "bullying" is pretty manageable lol, it's an internet forum. I can sign off. but it's appreciated anyways.

I really don't get the point in getting fucked up for the sake of getting fucked up. Obviously i enjoy getting high/drunk/ketted/ekky u name it but more to enjoy myself with mates rather than trying to get fucked and 'explore my conscious'. If the only place to do that shit is your parents house, why bother?

the exploring consciousness thing may sound a bit pretentious, but it's honestly an experience I get from psilocybin mushrooms. And that can be fun with friends and also by yourself
