Export track, sub is gone.. wtf?
I have a track coming out in a few days on a compil album, wanted to finish the track off and changed some shit in the bassline etc..
Now, something happened and i have no fucking clue what.
I play the project file and everything sounds good, when i export it to wav. there's a sound clipping in the second intro and the bass in the second drop is gone.
I have no automation clips on the bass causing it to turn off or anything like that.
any of you have a fucking clue what is going on?

Re: Export track, sub is gone.. wtf?
When you export the whole track you get a clipping sound and no sub.
What happens when you just export the sub into a .wav?
Are your export settings setup correctly?

Re: Export track, sub is gone.. wtf?
Could it be some rouge midi information.
There was a time when i would use some MIDI and it would switch/reset the patch on the channel. Anything like that happening? Or are you working in audio (automation on effects?)?

Not that i know of man, it's an older project that i just wanted to finish off, everything used to be just file and i haven't changed that much, i have no automation on the sub and no midi is being played. This is kinda pissing me off hahaFbac wrote:Could it be some rouge midi information.

Sounds frustrating.
So its an old project and the sub is an audio file. Have you tried copying it to a new audio track and then exporting the project?
Are you exporting as mono?
what D.a.w are you using?

Re: Export track, sub is gone.. wtf?
For the sub i use 3xosc wich works just fine for me, never had any shit like this going on, not too much effects on it too what might cause this problem.Fbac wrote:Sounds frustrating.

now i've exported the complete track without the sub and there's nothing clipping anymore, strange fact is there's no sub in the second intro what means the sub is clipping when not being played..
I work in flstudio 10, exporting in mono, i dont know man, my sub is mono in general so if i export it it would be still mono i guess, right?
Re: Export track, sub is gone.. wtf?
If its coming out of 3xosc it will be midi unless your talking about what the original source file came from and you re-sampled it.
Youve exported the whole track with out the sub and there is no clipping, so it is the sub.
I thought you might of been bouncing down stems to work with so i asked about mono stereo.
Is there anything on the master channel causing this? any old vst which might need reinstalling? other then that. I think im out of ideas.
