i withdraw my answer and agree with gene, fat people are ok if they know and acknowledge theyre fat, imo maybe wear a fat badge that would help
Re: Do you perceive fat people to be lazier?
depends how we perceive laziness, I clicked yes as an instinctual response but the more I think about it...
I am quite slim but I am quit lazy, but I tend to go climbing througout the week and I cycle to work as well. This keeps me in relatively good shape with minimal effort. I'm sure there are plenty of fat people who do a lot more than me exercise wise but can't shift the weight just cos they eat too much. It's not lazy, per say, but it is kinda stupid.

nah I dont think I do really. I dont really have any fat friends though and if I meet some who is extremely fat I feel slightly awkward at first, the literal elephant in the room.
I had a friend at high school who was pretty fat, mainly due to his parents over feeding him and recently he has lost alot of weight which i had a lot of respect for. I think its pretty hard to change your ways if youve been brought up like that.

Re: Do you perceive fat people to be lazier?
Not necessarily lazier but almost certainly a greater strain on the finite resources of the earth.
Re: Do you perceive fat people to be lazier?
yeah generally
then again it's sort of a circular question, because fat people are, by nature, less active (regardless of the cause of their fatness), and non-activity can essentially be percieved as laziness right?

Re: Do you perceive fat people to be lazier?
They can also be really active but eat too much. Like if they need 3000 calories per day to stay 'on weight', but eat 3500.

yeah but I dont think that lasts very long...I would think that they get to a point where they become less active because theyre gaining too much weight
Re: Do you perceive fat people to be lazier?
Yes, because they are. If they moved more and ate less they wouldn't be fat
Re: Do you perceive fat people to be lazier?
signals r u fat

Nah, one of the main reasons people don't lose weight is misinformation on weightloss.
They start eating almost nothing and all of it is "healthy food" with no regards for macronutritional ratios (fats/carbs/protein). So they're starving themselves, which fucks up their metabolism and makes their body hoard all the mass it can, and most of what they will lose is muscle. Then they get so hungry that they binge and think they've failed and that they just can't lose weight.
It's because when know-it-alls give them diet advice, they only talk about HEALTHY FOOD YEAH HEALTHY HEEEAALTTTHYYYY AND PORTION CONTROL. But there is no such thing as 'healthy food', just healthy diets that together comprise of food they like and covers all the bases. When you have a diet of shitty salads without dressings, too much fruit, skinless chicken and barely any fat, you might get 'stereotypically' "healthy" foods, but how does that help you with weightloss? And why deprive yourself of tasty shit, especially when you're fat and in physical need of more calories to function?
There's also a stigma against 'fatty food', so they avoid fat at all costs which fucks with their hormones, including leptin, a hormone that is key for boosting your metabolism (or when they're trying to gain muscle, they get too little testosterone).
And all that focus on exercise too. Losing weight is about eating less calories than you use. So they jump into two completely new lifestyles at once. Exercise, which is foreign to them. And proper diet.. which is also from another world. That's a lot to tackle at once.
