Benteke leaving is really unsurprising tbh, great player and we should get a fair bit for him

I hate the vile, but I hope if he leaves he turns out be a one season wonder, jerk off move, can only see it backfiring on him.

Serious, if they fail to get anyone good and break all their transfer and salary rules for Suarez, I'm going to make at least 3 "tut tut" sounds next time I walk past the Emirates.

TBH I'm racking my brains the last time we went that high on a transfer...think it was Ramirez last year for the same amount?

Before that I think our highest was Rory Delap for something like £4m

Lovren cost you 8.5m earlier in the summer too dont forget.

Think you could do with another striker really.

Ah yes, you're quite right.

You reckon? Lambert, Prado, Wanyama, plus Jay Rodriguez had an alright season. Give it another year, we'll probably sell Luke Shaw for silly money, same with Ward-Prowse, then we'll be laughing.

Could always recall Forte as well if we get desperate

I think you are Barney Wubble.

So yeah......I think you need a striker. Maybe not a first choice striker. But a semi-decent backup. You can take Carlton Cole if you wont........as I dont want him anywhere near Palace.
