I'm quite certain it's exactly that, but wrapped in a noobish layer of "what pro plugins do I use to make pro sounding trax like the pros?"

-Nexus 2 w/ a couple sound packs, especially the hollywood expansion (incredible orchestral sounds)
-Massive (main synth)
-Ohmicide (sick presets)
-Wow filter (the vowel toggler is amazing here)
-Sasuage fattener
-Glitch2 (sick stutter/random effects like lo-fi, tape stop/etc)

Waves, Soundtoys, UAD and Native Instruments. I used the Liquid Mix for all my Compression and EQ'ing. I use a few plug-ins that are less well know, its good to use some off the less obvious ones to create your own sound too.
