"Aptly titled, The Dark, kicks off proceedings demonstrating Krimson’s eclectic production skills. Showing he is in no way stuck in a distant past, Krimson hits you with some seriously heavy sounds. The Dark has a very industrial feel to it and every sound is constantly moving and jumping around the speakers. Krimson shows Dubstep can be hard-hitting without sounding over the top or treble heavy. The track is in no way conventional yet so familiar, reminiscent of Dubstep’s transition from true underground venues to clubs as large as Fabric.

Chemical X steps in next with deeper sub than any German U-boat. However, rhythm is not forgotten and your head is kept bopping through the active percussion. Raw and authentic sounds are what really make this track which is particularly optimised through the track’s breakdown. Bouncing snares and rhythmic high hats are what really move your feet, all of which compliment each other harmonically.

Back to its roots yet still moving forward, this EP shows Dubstep still very much has a pulse. Both The Dark and Chemical X can be played in any set, whether that be the warm up sessions or the peak hours. Krimson is showing he is undoubtedly an artist to look out for in the not so distant future and one to keep an eye and ear on."
