newcomers -> introduce yourself here
Re: newcomers -> introduce yourself here
Joachim from Norway here, just call me Joe, i produce all kinds of dark stuff, i don't like to put a genre on the stuff i create, so yeah.
I had an account on this forum a couple of years ago i believe.
Cheers.

Hey there fellas, you-won't-be-able-to-pronounce-that here, I'm from Poland, just call me however you want. I'm into glitchy and bassy stuff, started producing about a year ago and that's pretty much it.
I hope we'll share some great ideas and inspirations and in general have good time.

Allo!
I am West Coaster from the states who's been loving the heavy, deep and dark sounds since 2009. I'm currently up in Portland, Or, but I hail from the Bay Area and love the sounds coming out of Mallable and Irie Cartel. Have only dabbled in production and DJ'ing but like to think that my taste has been evolving over these four ruckus years of bass-driven madness. hmu if you're on the coast and down for herbal compression

Re: newcomers -> introduce yourself here
Hey guys, i just recently joined the forums and figured i would introduce myself
my name is Darek Landrum i live in St.Louis missouri id consider myself a production Newbie since the "best" thing i ever did was put a few windows XP error sounds in a pile until it sounded kind of good with no effects or anything, im still looking for the right program to use since all i currently have is Adobe Audition and Garage Band along with Audacity and Hydrogen and Wavepad
i work best with Adobe Audition but cant quite figure out how to make the beats and every time i try to make something i just end up like
, i also have a mixtrack Pro with Serato and also have Mixxx, thats the only thing id say im maybe kind of good at. i still try to practice even though my ears bleed each time, i mean i guess what i could make sounds good, if your deaf.
pretty much i am horrible at what i do an i am slightly proud.

Just joined. Quite enthusiastic about dubstep, sorta my passion. I make music too and if you could offer some feedback I'd be over the moon. Thanks.

Re: newcomers -> introduce yourself here
Hi all I'm Fu from the Netherlands. I listen to and (try to make) metal, classical, jazz, fusion, Balkan, Chinese pop, Bollywood, rock, hip hop, dnb, dubstep and whatever comes my way.
I like my dubstep mostly poppy mixed with raw (recent favourite would be cenob1te's remix of "Comme un enfant").
I only made one (unfinished) dubstep track so far but I'm hoping to be inspired more here and learn more about the various tools and techniques.
God bless you all

Re: newcomers -> introduce yourself here
Hey everyone.
Just a quick hello from me to get the ball rolling.
I'm from a place called Auckland in New Zealand
I've been into music my whole life (im quite young still
) but only recently (last year or 2) started making electronic music after being into rock/metal and a bit of old school hip hop there too.
Ever since i heard the darker side of dubstep I've loved it. So I focus more on that side of the spectrum but I'm quite open to everything.
Nothing to share with you as of yet. I'm working on a few bits at my own pace (still work a full time job and try to produce in spare time)
But very soon I shall have a few of my first clips to share with you and see what you think.
Any other kiwis on the forum? Send me a message!

Re: newcomers -> introduce yourself here
I've been lurking for a long time and finally decided to register. I first discovered EDM in high school at my first rave (early 2000's, during happy hardcore's glory days and when raves were still all about PLUR and good vibes), fell in love, and been hooked on it since. I have love for most genres of electronic music, but dubstep has my <3 over everything else (dnb is a close second). I recently started teaching myself how to produce - mostly dubstep, moombahton, and happy hardcore.
And there's my intro haha... glad to finally start actually joining in on the discussion
