Didn't I just say that?

Not sure if you're agreeing with me or arguing another point that I'm missing TBH.

lol...I'm agreeing with you Wub.
These ridicules arguments are why I like to just lurk. First I though it was me but now I'm starting to think it's the rest of the world.

Dunno, hearing someone else doing it and getting the idea to do the same thing can be inspiration. I just try to put it in a diff context.
When someone made the first ever 2-step garage track, and someone else then made a UKG tune with a 2-step beat, they'd essentially 'stolen' the idea from the original producer.

How would you describe inspiration?
Inspiration and theft are very different, IMO.
You know what, some times I will hear a track I like so much that I want to make a track exactly like it. IMO though that's just human nature. Like I might see someone dressed a certain way and I want to buy some clothes like it. It's fun and I make music for fun.

It's also talentless.
Further more you've used two very different examples. You sitting around doing jack shit of your own original music and then making it big off copying someone else's stuff is radically different to you liking clothes and wearing it. That's more like liking a song and listening to it. Not copying it and claiming originality and talent.
Some of my most original ideas have been spawned by a part in a track I'm listening to.
What the actual fuck are you talking about hahahaha

For the record, I did suggest that the topic should be changed to a masturbation thread, since that's the only reason people looked into it in the first place.
