I don't get what everyones beef with talktalk is I have nothing but good things to say about them. I dunno if it makes any difference but I live out in the sticks where no fibre is available and they've given us the best speeds over bt and orange and never drops out.

Virgin man, great service, + Branson is a much more honourable billionaire than Murdoch (and most billionaires)

I agree with you man, pretty much every pound you spend has moral implications whether you see them or not. Sure 10 quid here and there doesnt make much difference by itself but if everyone only spent money on things that fitted with their morals the world would probably be quite different. Your example actually has more direct consequences than the one peter singer gives in this video.

This may well be true but i'm just looking for the lesser evil.

Oh and my Talk Talk beef is because they tried to mug me off out of some cash and then threatened to put me on a debtors list when I refused to pay.
They didn't but fuck them still.

Ahh yeah that's peak for you then understand why you wouldn't want to go with them again.

From what I've heard, Virgin's service is very spotty and area-dependent.

BT's expensive, but I've never had a problem with them.

I don't really think there is a marked difference between who owns sky and all the rest in terms of reasons you might have a problem with them

while this is all true, Branson doesn't actually own Virgin Media, he licenses the name out for shares and appears in ads but thats about it
