sunday afternoon goodness!

such a sick weekend. Probably the friendliest crowd I have experienced, nothing but good vibes all the time.

Thought I would get bored of 4 to floor by the end but i actually grew to love it more.

This through the fully analog opus system sounded absolutely incredible, so funky and crisp as you like

had never heard of yusaku shigeyaso before but that was a massive highlight for me. Had been craving some more garagey/breakbeaty stuff and he played exactly what i was after.

I didnt know yusaku and didnt catch him, heard amazing things though. Was then too full for me in shackleton (and ive seen him a couple times in the last year) so ended up somewhere else. He blew my mind last year though.

Can only just about begin to piece together favourite moments. My personal definitely being my girlfriend...5 years ago she was a traditional anti-electronic music band member...saturday night she was going fucking bananas to Karenn

and Move D, and Peverelist, and midland...etc. etc.

haha! brilliant definetly the right place for a conversion to happen.

I saw the beggining of shackleton but popped outside for a second and managed to get roped into stewarding for 4 hours! got given a free 10 bag by some friendly campers tho which was very nice of them and I didnt have to do a full shift the next day so wasn't too bad really. Stewarding is the way to go i recon, free ticket and lots of nice people to meet.

And with all 3 of them being the most enjoyable weekends of my life its hard to change anything!

Such an amazing place. Too much to take in to be honest! It feels like what Andy Murray looked like when he won wimbledon. Kind of staggering around in awe, then probably getting emotional a couple of days later when it all sinks in.

Can definitely think of some moments though. A couple of tunes (as well as the rest of what) objekt played were just jaw dropping. And Karenn aswell. First time I had seen them and just blew my expectations out the water. Great dynamic to the set as a whole, deeper and more driving than I was expecting, with a taste of what was to come halfway through somewhere...then absoloute chaos by the end. And to find out afterwards it was pretty much improvised is incredible.

Both Move D sets, were of course fantastic. My girlfriends new favourite anything! Midland absoloutely destroying room 3 was sooo much fun. Pevs jungle outro...phwoooaaaarr. With top quote of the weekend outside the room of "Well dont hang around then, get in there!!"

Had one downer the whole weekend though. Friday night, my girlfriend had just come off some antibiotics, so we were having a quieter night, just some drinks. However, come half 3/4, I suddenly started to feel queasy, and ended up spending nearly an hour having to have a little sit down and being sick

I wasnt a mess at all, Ive just got a really weak stomach and dont drink often. Was fine by pangaea, but meant I missed a bit of ben and most of david

did something really similar last year too! Friday was my quiet night of just having a few drinks, and again was the one night where I was sick (after going to bed but still...)

lesson learned freerotation

A year is too long to wait though! Amazing place, and so many people I dont see often enough!

Ahhh ive just worked out who you were Rob! Did you come over and say hi to me at some point? I knew I recognised you, just didnt know where from. I could have sworn you said you were Brackles as well...unless that was Brackles?

Ohhh I just dont know anymore lol My brain was barely functioning that weekend. Just...so hot lol

And gwa im dam jealous of you too. Know too many people who got to carry on their freero from a cottage nearby. I couldn't describe my envy when people I knew were going to a cottage 5 mins away, and we had a 7 hour journey home ahead of us lol

Next year! I will a) sort out something along the lines of a cottage afterwards, and b) buy a gazebo...

i think I might of introduced you to brackles as he was with my gang.

it was literally too hot for me to catch most sets but i enjoyed the techno for the last few hours on friday night and i enjoyed the main mans set on saturday and sunday afternoon. sven was mashing it up on saturday night...

anyone else i can't really remember.. in true style.

spent most of the weekend running around the festival.

lovely to see you again chris and to meet steph!

it just gets better and better... i'm still too brain dead to sum it up on here but we've spent the past week getting even more mash up in a hot tub looking out onto the valleys.

I wanted to ask you something in fact Rob! I dunno if you were in room 2 for Objekts set? I had a feeling he dropped the new special request, houndstooth thing. The one dripping in like 140bpm amens. Cos he dropped something like that, and holy hell...it went OFF!

Certainly hope so! Unfortunately I just found out I didnt get a job I was relying on, and that our estate agent is trying to dispute giving any of our deposit back on our old house. So yeah, money just became a big fucking issue in the last 48 hours...
