They have something very unique & I have already tried making them using built in string sets from Logic Pro, but I didn't even get close to those strings he uses. Could anyone help me out with this, because I'm right now writing a song, which also has an offbeat & I constantly imagine those in my head, instead of the electric piano I'm using right now.

SKisM's Violin Strings?
I would like to know how SKisM makes his violin strings in "Like This" & the "600 Years" remix. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tAa7QKbhgGk

I'd guess Kontakt for violins but in 600 Years it sounds like a guitar skank imo.

W/o even listening, I agree, it's probably a multi-sample instrument if it sounds half way decent. Or he can play violin and record it.
I bet you can find some samples on freesounds.org that will sort you.
