remixing bioshock?

Post by khal » Wed Sep 05, 2007 1:18 pm

2K Games released the original score to one of this years most popular games, BioShock, in MP3 format - grab it here: http://downloads.2kgames.com/bioshock/B ... _Score.zip

i'm trying to see how many remixes can come of this... more info HERE: http://rockthedub.blogspot.com/2007/09/ ... shock.html

happy remixing!

interesting, cheers for the link.
nearly everyone is giving bioshock 10/10 reviews, but its $59 on steam and its currently very difficult to pirate, so i'll get it in a few months i think.

sick! looking forward to checking this out when i get home.

i had HL2 on my PC for a while. when i (eventually) got bored of it, before uninstalling i had a look around in the game directory in program files... BINGO! a shit tonne of amazing pro vox, atmos & fx samples, already all in wav format. the term, i believe, is YOINK

i've rinsed HL2 in a number of tunes. hopefully something similar will be possible with this stuff... cheers Khal!

sampling games is great, i'm particularly fond of me duke nukem samples and the yardies from gta3.
anyone played stalker: shadow of chernobyl? i sampled some of the ambience from the underground bases in that, well scary stuff, more of a shit-up than doom 3 was.
been listening to the soundtracks of the original c&c games too, they have some phat beats!!
