i've actually asked this here before but instead of trying to find an ancient thread and necroing it i thought there wouldn't be anything wrong with starting a new one, just in case this time someone actually knew what they were talking bout

i know he uses ableton, he has actually bragged in an interview about how he knows everything about the DAW.. so the question is i guess that can u do it with ableton's stock vsts or does he use a third party one? or even completely separate software?

Re: blawan-style vocal editing
No I mean the plugins from the Anthology bundle.
Still he might use guitar pedals too, know of quite a few producers who use chains of em.

Re: blawan-style vocal editing
Guitar pedals in music production are as old as production itself. Most live setups have at least one.topmo3 wrote:a guitar pedal, really? that's fascinatingAxeD wrote:Eventide Quadravox/Octavox for the dodgy pitching etc..what's your source?

Re: blawan-style vocal editing
dont remember but it was basically just pitchin down a vocal sample and using it as a modulator for like a low pitched sq wave kinda thing, make vocoder setting real wet so mainly u hear the vocals and not the sawtopmo3 wrote:care to share if u remember what u did? cheerskaili wrote:i achieved similar results while messing with a vocoder the other day by accident im pretty sure thats a key part of it
nd distortion and shit
just experiment, would be better to come up with something similar but more original anyways
