The only modulation that existed was FM automation, phaser wasn't automated.azuk wrote:Did you use Prism's inverted multiply and set a custom Harmonic Prism? You didn't mention it, but I can hear a similar sound.mromgwtf wrote:The result:

The bass is actually made in FM8. The first sound you hear in the track above is the pure FM8 output.
I resampled the fm8 bass in harmor two times. Each time I added random stuff like chorus, distortion, little compression, and the really important: phaser. Because I used the phaser I didn't need to use filters.
Then I loaded the resampled bass into fruity slicer and pitched it up one semitone, it changed its timbre a lot actually.
And that's how I made it.. so yeah.![]()
I meant external modulation, like automating the phaser.mromgwtf wrote:Yes, one synth, but no formant eq. Modulation is pretty much in every sound you hear. ASDR on volume can be called modulation.azuk wrote:I thinks its only one synth, but with some formant eq and some modulation.
I didn't use prism or custom harmonic prism. The fatness of the sound comes mainly from chorus and unison
