Anyone know where to purchase a replacement tweeter for krk rokit 8 g2?

You don't have any US/EU friends who could order it and post it to you do you? Obviously it would be a bit expensive but probably less than KRK would charge to fix it

What actually happened to the tweeter? Is it full on blown?

Thanks guys i will have a look. Well actually i just assume its that, It always made a hissing noise and got worse over time, then a couple of days ago it just seemed to die and now out of the 1 speaker i cant hear any percussion.

Also another problem i have always just dealt with. When i turn the monitor on at first the volume coming from it is very very quiet, its like it almost has to warm up? It takes about 5-10 minutes and then the volume is fine?
Its the same monitor as what i think has the blown tweeter

I'm no expert in this but I'd presume that's an amp problem

Just means its time for an upgrade!

But yeah, sounds like a amp problem. These are solid state amps in there, so it shouldnt take any time for it to warm up. If you have some sort of guitar repair shop (most know how to repair amps) or pro audio place you should take it in and see whats wrong with it.

After further investigation i removed the amplifier and noticed on one of the pc boards there is i think a resistor that has lost its connection and isnt possible to re solder. Anyone know where to buy replacement amplifiers that ship to Australia :\?
Think i might have to end up purchasing a new monitor.

If I were you I'd buy a new pair yeah, perhaps upgrade to the VXT 8's
