I'm listening to the album now. It's alright. Actually preferring other bits on the album to obstacle 1 which had a bit of "rainy afternoon trip to bank" vibe to it. There's occasionally some very melodically nice sections to it without getting too sentimental or wishy washy , it's got hints to classic 80s post-punk records in it (although that runs the risk of hinting at better albums) and at the same time doesn't sound entirely like other bands enough to sound completely derivative. The more energetic moments of the record I actually like the least because it's in these moments that it becomes apparent that their music doesn't have so much bite to it.

I'm about halfway through and so far it's being a fairly good listen but really not "band of the decade material".

Yeah man, speaking of hands actually, "Slow Hands" off Antics might be my fave Interpol tune.

Ah, just did a search and you're right. Although Relationship of Command WAS released in 2000 ;-)

I have no idea how burial managed to remix where is home. The original just sounds like whiny noise to me. Bless the burial remix though
