the first time he used that siren at System it fucked up a load of peoples ears proper because he had it coming through way too loud, he's sorted it out since then thankfully

Viv still uses it in his sets I think, just it's nowhere near as loud so you tend not to notice it as muchJohoosh wrote:Swear its barely been used outside of the Roots hour in the last 2?particle-jim wrote:the first time he used that siren at System it fucked up a load of peoples ears proper because he had it coming through way too loud, he's sorted it out since then thankfully

Not sure I'm missing the siren though.
It was too much in the system mix.

Not as many people as I'd like. I'm seeing a lot of the same in a lot of Dubstep I come across.
Seven Lions is pretty awesome in my opinion though.

I've been listening to Joe Nice's mixes and getting pumped with the stuff he's been playing. Coki-Coral Reef, that shit is BANANAS! Kryptic Minds. 50 Carrot and Coffi, I like their deep, trap influenced stuff.

Crystal Drop, Mortar, Siberun, Grimehouse, Herox, Rarebreed, Kromly, The Biocide, Eliminate.
I found all of these artists off the Drop The Bassline EP’s.

out of all the producers at the moment in the deep side of dubstep and the tracks being put out, none in my opinion are exciting... (not consistently anyway) apart from killawatt, ipman, ben verse and jubei's forthcoming album
Re: Who's exciting you in Dubstep right now?
also dj madd, he puts out rawness. that forthcoming tunnidge bit is serious too, bit disappointed there wasnt an alternative to the 7 breathes remix

Re: Who's exciting you in Dubstep right now?
I'd have to say Proxima. The Formal Junction/Grunge release is among my favorite singles and Lie Detection/Brainstem are gems. Thermal Vision/Valve Wars took me longer to get into but recently, I can't get enough of Thermal Vision. And Fallout is my favorite dubplate ATM. Total Madness.
J:Kenzo, I can't remember a time I liked all songs on an EP equally. The Bloodlines EP is just absolute minimal madness especially the breakdown on Cause and Effect.
Distance's new bits are absurd IMO. Broken Dawn, Andromeda, and the tune just uploaded to his Soundcloud, Untouchable are simply unbelievable. But I haven't heard anything about a release yet...
Goth-Trad always has something different. Born to Know is unreal.
Other than that, Nomine, is good. Perverse is outstanding. Coleco, although I haven't seen a release in a while. Consequence too.
I'm always on the lookout for new Tunnidge. Maybe my favorite dubstep producer ever.

I hope they release some stuff on vinyl eventually, some of their tunes are too good to remain digital only.Muncey wrote:Nebula Music Group though, so I assume no vinyl
I guess the good thing with digi only though is they can release at whatever pace they want more or less.
