Is my Whirlwind Leader Cord Cable (L06) Balanced?
So, i am looking to sample a keyboard i have bought recently, and after hooking it up using a shabby cheap trs cable i decided that if im gonna do right i ought to buy a decent cable first. I went into this guitar shop hopeing to find ta balanced TRS to Male XLR cable, but all they had was TRS to Female XLR and TRS to TRS. This was a bit off-putting, so i decided to ask the floor manager if he had a suitable cable for the job. He didn't know what a balanced cable was, however he highly recommended the brand of cable "Whirlwind" and so i bought one, he said he would give me a full refund if i wasn't happy. Now on the back of packaging it states that it is the "most road worthy, sonically pure cable made", so surely it must be balanced? It does not have the two 'rings' around the connectors, so i am doubting that it is balanced? WTF IS GOING ON?
